MILA 2 has a strong focus on the development of grammar, fine-tuning writing skills, and reading comprehension. This course expands the participants’ knowledge of scientifically-based language arts content and methodology. Students may expect to build on the foundational skills and techniques learned in MILA 1.
The MILA 2 course is your opportunity to take the next step in your teaching career. In order to qualify, you must have completed a high achievement in MILA 1 (grade of A or higher), and have implemented Spalding teaching methods for a minimum of one year.

Demonstrate increased knowledge of spelling and language rules with a particular emphasis on expanding knowledge of morphology
